Languages
IMS/Basic
IMS/Basic was introduced in 1985 and became the first software language
capable of bridging the IRIS platform to popular UNIX environments through the
development of IMS language conversion tools. Since the inception of IMS/Basic,
we have developed several software enhancements that allow developers to run the
applications in UNIX, DOS, Windows and Windows NT. These products and
capabilities have enabled our developers to convert legacy applications so they
can operate on current, more popular computer platforms. With IMS/Basic, our
developers can take advantage of the latest in Client/Server, Windows NT, and
ODBC technologies. The product now supports over 100 developers worldwide with
over 10,000 installations.
